Chapalichthys pardalis - Polkadot splitfin

The Polkadot Splitfin is endemic to the Mexican federal state of Michoacán.-http://www.goodeidworkinggroup.com/chapalichthys-pardalis

As with the Red-tailed splitfin - this was also a chance pickup - I noticed a tank of about 20 goodeids in another of my local petshops, this one in Drammen, and I again didn't know much about goodeid's then but bought 3 and took them home.
I then went back to the shop and bought 3 more a week later and kept them in a tank alone because of their size. Also I didn't know if they would be agressive towards other fish or not.

Luckily I had room for them cos I had made a tank ready for a group of Skiffia multipunctata that the shop was ordering inn, but the order went wrong and the fish never arrived, so the polkadots got that tank.

I ended up having them with some endlers livebearers and my Limia tridens. This came about when I had placed a plastic container with a pregnant endler on top of their tank, and she jumped out of that container and miraculously into the tank with the splitfins! And they didn't even pay her any attention, so I ended up putting the limia tridens in with them as well until I moved the goodeids out for the summer.
