just a short intro to this blogg!

It all started this winter when I wanted a couple of livebearers - I knew I wanted a wild type livebearer and not the domesticated strains of guppy,platy or molly.

I went online and found someone in Oslo who were selling Neoheterandria Elegans - Tiger teddy, so I got a group of 13 young fish.

Next I found female Limia nigrofasciata in a petshop in Drammen, got two of them and asked the shop if they could order some males. They did and I then had a trio.

I had seen endlers in the petshops but stayed away from them cos I thought the names "lime green" and "neon blue" sounded very artificial - like someone had created domestic strains which I wasn't interested in at all.
That all changed when I saw a tank with El Tigre endlers which I then got - and that made me start to research endlers and I discovered that lime greens are indeed wild type fish, so..I got a few of them too...
as of today I keep El Tigre, El Silverado, Lime green, Campoma nr 28 "red", Campoma nr 31 "blue snake", Campoma nr 47 "blue star", Campoma nr 48 "black green" and I keep a hybrid strain of blue stars as well as a single female of "neon blue/emerald green" (more info on each strain in upcoming posts !)
